Miller And Goebbels, A One-Sided Love Story

Does this sound like anyone in the news?

He was one of ***** *****’s closest and most devoted followers, known for his skills in public speaking and his virulent ******, which was evident in his publicly voiced views. He advocated progressively harsher discrimination, including the extermination of **** and other groups in the *******.

Where the asterisks are you can insert “Donald tRUmp”, “racism,” “immigrants” and “immigration crack down”.

Or use the original words, “Adolph Hitler,” “antisemitism,” “Jews” and “Holocaust.”

And the “he” in this case is Stephen Miller, the actual mouth piece of the alleged president of the United States, having taken over from another Nazi, fElon Musk. Miller fits the above description just as well as Joseph Goebbels did.

Miller is apparently well aware he physically and mentally resembles Joseph Goebbels, chief propagandist for the Nazi Party, Reich Minister of Propaganda from 1933 to 1945. Goebbels was one of Adolf Hitler’s most slavish followers and closest aides. Miller is one of tRUmp’s most slavish followers and closes aides.

Goebbels was Chancellor of Germany for exactly one day, from 30 April 1945 to 1 May 1945.

After Hitler blew his brains out on 30 April 1945 in the Führerbunker in Berlin, Hitler’s will stated Goebbels should succeeded him as Chancellor of Germany.

What did Goebbels do with his one day of ultimate power over what remained of Germany and the Third Reich?

With the help of his wife, Magda, Goebbels poisoned their six children with a cyanide compound.

After that was done, at around 20:30 (8:30PM), Goebbels and Magda left the bunker and walked to the garden of the German Chancellery and committed suicide.

History agrees on this part of the pitiful end for the master propagandist, one-day German Chancellor, his wife and family. But soon after the murder/suicides, Russian troops overran the bunker and the surrounding area. After that, the story about what happened next gets murky.

One other horrific fact is certain: Their bodies were doused with gasoline, and like Hitler, set on fire and partially burned.

The play-by-play of the end of Miller’s hero isn’t what matters.

Goebbels personal history is extensively documented. His life is the stuff of books and PhD dissertations.

I’m not going to get into that.

What I am going to get into is the parallels between Goebbels and Miller. And the perverse differences.

Within the Nazi Party Goebbels filled a very similar role to Miller within MAGA and his relationship to the leader of the nation.

Goebbels was chief propagandist for the Nazi Party. He was Reich Minister of Propaganda from 1933 to 1945.

Goebbels was one of Adolf Hitler’s closest and most devoted followers.

Goebbels hated Jews. He was known for his skills in public speaking and his virulent antisemitism. He advocated progressively harsher discrimination, including the extermination of Jews and other groups.

Miller served as the White House deputy chief of staff for policy and the United States homeland security advisor since 2025. Miller was a senior advisor to the president and the White House director of speech writing from 2017 to 2021.

One of the most influential figures of the tRUmp administrations and the MAGA movement. Miller’s politics are described as far-right, anti-immigration, and white nationalist.

Miller hates immigrants. He is responsible for the formation of a policy that separates the children of undocumented immigrants from their families and the Gestapo-like tactics of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in a quest to arrest 3,000 immigrants per day, both documented and undocumented, without due process.

Like Goebbels, Miller is a master manipulator of language and has made an art form out making hateful statements, many of which involve false accusations.

Miller’s speeches written for tRUmp include terms such as “radical Islamic terrorism”, a phrase that insinuates that all Muslims are terrorists.

So, Miller and Goebbels are two pretty similar guys.

Now for the perverse differences.

Miller is Jewish. His Eastern European family were immigrants who fled persecution and came to the United States.

Miller’s role model, Goebbels, would have had him exterminated just for his religion and heritage. If someone like Miller would have been in charge of immigration policy when his family came to America they probably would have been deported back to Belarus.

Goebbels was highly educated. He was an author. Goebbels obtained a doctorate in philology from the University of Heidelberg in 1922. By 1940 he had written 14 books.

Miller has a BA from Duke University and plunged directly into conservative politics. In addition to what pass for speeches by tRUmp, he also ghost writes many of tRUmp’s anti-social media missives.

Goebbels had hair. Miller is bald.

Goebbels grew up Catholic in a family of modest means.

Miller grew up rich in Santa Monica, California, but his blow-hard lawyer father ran the family business into the ground. Loss of the family’s financial status seems to have put a giant chip on Miller’s shoulder, mainly because he had to go to a public high school with people of other races.

Goebbels was crippled. His right foot was deformed, due to a congenital disorder or an infection in the bone. It was thicker and shorter than his left foot.

Miller is only emotionally crippled.

Despite being a white supremacist who professed high morals, Goebbels was a womanizer. He had an affair with an actress, Lída Baarová, among others. He had six children, including a stepson adopted from his wife’s first marriage to Günther Quandt, a Nazi that supported the Nazi Party financially and owned several companies as well as major investments in Daimler-Benz and BMW.

Miller’s wife, despite claiming the two still have a relationship, apparently ran off with fElon Musk. Together they have just three children, so Goebbels must have been way more of a stud than Miller.

Miller seems to have put on a few pounds since the American Reich took over, making it more difficult to achieve Goegbel’s gaunt, unhealthy look. Maybe he’s had too many fast food dinners with his boss.

Yes, it appears that Miller didn’t read ahead to the end of the life story of his hero Goebbels. And unfortunately America will have to suffer with his insufferableness until the MAGA nightmare comes to its inevitable end.
