Sometimes I think about doing a yes man type situation and just saying okay to every request that hits my inbox for a month. Or maybe a week. For a day. Just saying yes to everything for a day.

Waiting for the folks that argued Trump was a response to the Obama presidency and HRC candidacy to make the case that the leftward tack of Democratic primaries is a response to MAGA policies. I guess it doesn’t work that way.

For the last ten years or so I’ve felt like the markets are best understood as a bunch of people saying “well, I don’t think things are going to get *better* than this anytime soon.” All a bit like boasting about consumer spending with a asteroid visibly growing in the sky behind you.
